New from HobbyZone and Horizon Hobby is the Champ Anniversary Special Edition 515mm BNF Basic R/C Airplane. This updated R/C airplane resurrects the Champ RTF, an entry-level radio-controlled aircraft trainer, and brings several modern tech advancements to the table.
The Champ Anniversary Special Edition commemorates HobbyZone's 25th anniversary as well as Horizon Hobby's 40th anniversary and includes updates like SAFE, which helps prevent flight errors, which is beneficial for new pilots.
Its small size makes it an excellent park flyer, capable of teaching the basics of R/C flight without requiring a large amount of airspace.
This bind-n-fly airplane features a Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSMX receiver, which can pair with an array of compatible transmitters. The Champ Anniversary SE is fully assembled and should be an excellent choice for entry-level R/C pilots.
If you prefer an all-in-one package, the Champ Anniversary Special Edition is also available as a ready-to-fly (RTF) model that includes a 2.4GHz transmitter, a battery, and charger.
