Helion Avenge 10MT XB Monster Truck

It's been a while since I've checked out Helion's lineup of 1/10 and 1/18-scale fun, basher-focused R/C machines. As luck would have it, HobbyTown's recent Avenge 10MT XBR giveaway contest opened my eyes to a few new models.

Fans of general radio-controlled monster trucks already have a variety of models to choose from, and now that list has grown even larger. The Avenge 10MT XB is Helion's latest 1/10-scale, brushed, four-wheel drive R/C monster truck and from the looks of it, is built for fun.

Beginning with the foundation, the Avenge 10MT XB features a tub-style chassis, oil-filled (and adjustable) coil-over shocks, and beefy suspension components. A 550-size brushed motor is nestled into the chassis, along with a 40-amp, brushed electronic speed control (ESC).

A wheelie bar is also installed, which leads me to believe that this truck has some boost behind it, which should make go-fast fans quite happy. A 2.4GHz radio system is also installed, which includes an Ikonnik ET3 3-channel transmitter.

Power for the Avenge 10MT XB comes from an included 8.4V, 1800mah NiMh battery pack. A battery charger is also included in the box, so you'll only need to supply radio transmitter batteries (4 AA-size) before you take off on your adventure.
