Going the Distance: Carisma's SCA-1E 1976 Ford F-150 Completes "The Fix" 12-Hour Enduro

By: Tim Gluth

They did it again! The Carisma Scale Adventure trail team has completed the 2018 edition of "The Fix Enduro" at ParkerFest Europe, completing 12 grueling hours of non-stop trail action with their recently-announced 1976 Ford F-150 LWB rig.

In a video posted by the team's captain, J. Scott Curlin, you can see the moment when the SCA-1E completes the last lap of its journey. This feat is not only impressive by itself, but it also means that this new SCA-1E model will be R.E.C.O.N G6 certified, a recognition that isn't handed out lightly.

To learn more about goes into competing in and completing "The Fix", give a listen to episode 54 of the RC Newb Podcast where J. Scott Curlin gave me an overview of his 2017 adventure.

Keep an eye on the Carisma Scale Adventure Facebook page for more news and updates from "The Fix" and visit carismascaleadventure.com to learn more about the SCA-1E LWB.
