Get Ready to Shred the Drag Strip with the Traxxas Drag Slash

By: Tim Gluth

Who's ready for an old-fashioned teaser? No frills, no surprises (well, maybe), just a dimly-lit photo of a radio-controlled drag truck and its name; Drag Slash. That's right, folks, Traxxas is heading back into the ring for their second go-around with R/C drag racing.

With many R/C drag racing enthusiasts turning to the Traxxas Slash short course truck as the foundation for their no-prep dragsters, it only makes sense that Traxxas would release a purpose-built racer of their own. This upcoming release will feature a Chevy C10 pickup truck body with a "street eliminator" feel based on the teaser image and text.

Since there are many details yet to be released on this model (specs, pricing, etc.), it's time to let your mind run wild. The Traxxas Drag Slash will be available in May (2021), so there's plenty of time to guess what this machine's packing under the hood.
