Gearing Up for the Great American RC Crawl (2026 Edition)
It's hard to believe the inaugural Great American RC Crawl took place nearly a year ago. Held on the surrounding terrain of Road America in Plymouth, WI, this event is as close as it gets to being in my "back yard".
Shortly after last year's event wrapped up, it was announced that it would be returning for a second time, which happens to be taking place this upcoming weekend (August 7 - 9, 2026). As I get my rigs ready and batteries charged for the weekend, here are some details around the 2026 edition of the Great American RC Crawl.
- Event Dates: August 7 - 9, 2026
- Location: Road America - Plymouth, WI
- Entry Gates: Open at 8:00 AM
- Trail Entry: Open at 8:00 AM
- 1/10-Scale Comps: Noon - 6:00 PM (Friday & Saturday)
- Vendor Row: Open at 10:00 AM (Friday & Saturday) and 9:00 AM on Sunday
Tickets are available starting at $20 per person for a one-day pass and $40 for the entire three-day event. These tickets, as well as camping passes, are available at roadamerica.tixonlinenow.com.
No matter what scale of R/C crawler you're running, there will be trails and events designed to suit small-scale (1/30, 1/24, & 1/18) and standard-scale (1/10) rigs.
