Force RC Muckraker 1/8-scale Brushless Truggy
Horizon Hobby has added a new model to their entry-level Force RC brand, and it's a bit of a depature from their previous models. The Force RC Muckraker is an 1/8-scale, ready-to-run (RTR), brushless truggy that looks like a great machine for first-time bashers.
Built on an aluminum chassis, the Muckraker features a non-sensored, brushless motor to help it achieve speeds in excess of 40mph. You'll need to supply the battery and charger for this beast, however, it's capable of accepting up to 4S LiPo power.
A shaft-driven 4-wheel drive system keeps the wheels spinning and four aggressivly-treaded tires do what they can to grip the earth.
In addition to these impressive assets, this 1/8-scale monster features four massive aluminum-bodied, threaded shocks to keep everything flowing smoothly.
The electronics on the Muckraker are waterproof, allowing you to keep the fun rolling no matter what the weather conditions may be. Also included in this RTR package is a 2.4GHz radio system, ensuring long-range performance.
A polycarbonate body sits atop this truggy and, at first glance, you may think that it's an ARRMA model, as it seems to share some ARRMA graphics DNA. At any rate, this looks like an impressive bashing machine for the price.
