For Those About to Build (and Rock): Losi Launches the Rock Rey Kit
Losi has added a new variant to their Rock Rey lineup with the introduction of a build-it-yourself kit. The Losi Rock Rey Rock Racer kit gives you the same 1/10-scale rig that you'd find in the ready-to-run (RTR) version but allows you to customize it to your personal preference.
Combining an aluminum chassis and molded, nylon roll cage, the Rock Rey is an impressive-looking machine, with or without the body panels attached. This kit is a nice alternative to the Axial Yeti or even the Axial RR10 Bomber, for those looking to hit the rocks and jumps with equal frequency.
Setting the kit apart from the RTR model is the inclusion of option parts such as aluminum suspension links, and adjustable turnbuckles. An included LED lightbar helps you light up the night and headlight buckets are already in place, giving you the opportunity to add more lighting to suit your needs.
The real power in this kit comes from what you put into it. Choose your own radio, ESC, motor, and other electronics to make the Rock Rey kit a true one-of-a-kind machine.
The Losi Rock Rey Rock Racer Kit carries a price of $359.99, which makes it comparable to other 1/10-scale kits on the market. Learn more about this new model at losi.com.
