FMS Canyon RS Trail Truck
FMS has released its latest 1/10-scale R/C off-roader, the Canyon RS. Featuring a modern, FMS-created body style and low center-of-gravity chassis, this "standard scale" trail truck looks like a capable and fun outdoor cruiser.
Branching out from its FCX10 lineup, the Canyon features a new LCG chassis design that's designed to keep this rig planted under the most extreme conditions. The motor sits lower than other models, and various design considerations help maintain a low center of gravity for this truck.
More than just an LCG chassis wrapped in a sleek, modern body, the Canyon RS also includes dig functionality, a two-speed transmission, locking front and rear diffs, oil-filled metal shocks, metal gears (with a plastic spur gear), a complete set of ball bearings, and portal axles.
Speaking of the body, it looks like a blend of modern SUV design with shades of Ford Explorer and similarly designed 1:1 models. The body features a quick-release mounting system and magnet-connected LED lights for easy body removal and attachment.
Since this is an RS model, you will need to supply your own battery and battery charger before you can take the Canyon out on the trail.
