Even the Professionals Love R/C Cars
Being an avid NASCAR fan, I’m aware of a few drivers that are into the radio-controlled car hobby. From Dale Jr. to Robby Gordon, there are a number of high-level racers that like to unwind with a little R/C action from time-to-time and some drivers, like Tony Stewart even have ownership roles in R/C car companies (Custom Works RC).
With the Daytona 500 (and the start of another racing season) just around the corner, it’s clear that some drivers are ready to go and get after it, no matter what level (or scale it may be). The driver of the #3 Yuengling Lager NASCAR Xfinity Series Camaro, Ty Dillon, took part in a little race shop exhibition race earlier today, as tweeted by his Business Manager, Mike Hoag:

Not only are these some awesome late-model radio-controlled stock cars, it’s great to see a few members of Ty’s team getting in on the fun as well.
