ECX Barrage 2.0 1.55" R/C Scaler
The folks at ECX have been hard at work adding to their lineup of trail trucks with the release of their second-generation Barrage. The Barrage Gen2 looks quite a bit like the original, however, there are a number of external and internal differences.
The most obvious change is the wheel size. While the original Barrage rolled on 1.9" wheels, this new trail truck rolls on 1.55" wheels and tires, which seem to fit the 1/12-scale rig a bit better (visually speaking). Along with those new wheels and tires, the Barrage 2.0 has dropped the need for wider wheel hex extensions and also features heavier-duty steering linkage.
Other "under the hood" improvements include a true 4-link suspension setup, larger servo mount (for upgradability) and a 390-size brushed motor.
The electronics on this rig are waterproof, opening up a world of fun when you're out on the trail. An included 2.4GHz radio system (with a 4-channel receiver) are also included, allowing you to get creative with lights, winches, or whatever else you'd like to bolt onto your custom machine.
