A Bird's Eye View on a Budget: Dromida's KODO FPV Quadcopter Pack

Dromida appears to be all-in when it comes to FPV. Not only have they announced two upcoming, FPV-equipped 1/18-scale surface vehicles, but they’re also branching out their KODO quadcopter line, with a new FPV kit.

The KODO FPV RTF (Ready-To-Fly) Pack features just about everything you’d need to immerse yourself in the world of FPV flight.

The KODO FPV quadcopter takes the frame and body of last year’s KODO HD and adds an FPV-enabled, WiFi camera for a unique flight perspective. Also included in the kit are FPV goggles for use with an Android or Apple smartphone. When used in conjunction with Dromida’s FPV app, you’ll have the full FPV experience in front of you.

If you’d rather keep your eyes on your controller, the KODO FPV twin-stick transmitter includes a smartphone mount for easy viewing of your flight path as well as your controls.

Priced at $89.99 and due to hit hobby shop shelves in July, this is another nice option for first-time multirotor pilots or folks looking to get their first taste of FPV action.
