Cruise the Land or Air with the Blade Inductrix Switch Quadcopter/Hovercraft

By: Tim Gluth

Blade's Inductrix has become a hot little number in the world of R/C flight. This versatile quadcopter has gone from a standard line-of-sight flier to an FPV powerhouse, thanks in part to a passionate community of pilots.

Another community-driven mod, a hovercraft conversion, has paved the way for the latest variant in the Inductrix line, the Inductrix Switch. The Switch is a ready-to-fly (RTF) hybrid that can transform from a multi-rotor aircraft into a small-scale hovercraft with a few quick adjustments.

The durable plastic frame is designed to withstand basic bumps and rough landings, making it a solid choice for new pilots and those looking to sharpen their skills.

Four brushed, 6mm motors power this hybrid machine, with an included 1S LiPo battery providing the "go juice". Four programmable LEDs allow for easy identification in the air and allow you to customize your Switch when flying or hovering with a group.

Also included in this RTF package is a 2.4GHz radio transmitter and 1S LiPo charging adapter.

Additional upgrades such as an FPV camera, "Pro" motor set, and canopy can be added to the Inductrix Switch for a fully-immersive experience.
