Carisma SCA-1E Toyota Tacoma: First Drive [Video]

I'm no stranger to Carisma's SCA-1E platform; however, it's been a while since I've wheeled one of their vehicles. Up until a few days ago, the only 1/10-scale Carisma trail rig that I had in my R/C garage was the SCA-1E Lynx. Their most recent release features an officially-licensed Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro body and still packs in plenty of trail and crawling performance.

To get a feel for how this rig performs, I trekked out to a local spot that offers a little bit of everything (except for rocks). There are wooded areas that offer downed logs and sticks for crawling and a large, grassy field that allows for some full-throttle fun. The SCA-1E 2.1 Spec Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is a very capable crawler and can also kick up some dirt when it needs to.

This is a fun machine that looks amazing, and I know Toyota fans will be happy to see this hit hobby store shelves.
