Carisma M48S Audi Sport Quattro S1 1/8 Brushless Rally Car - Overview & Action [Video]

Rally cars rock. No matter the scale, no matter the power, these cars have always captured my attention. Carisma's latest 1/8 brushless beast, the M48S Audi Sport Quattro S1, is no exception.

With its classic styling and raw power, this machine is built for fun. Here is my video overview and first run of this larger-scale R/C rally car:

My immediate thoughts on this model are…"WOW". The power and overall speed that this car is capable of is nothing short of amazing. As you can see from the video, it's easy to slide around and can be a bit unpredictable if you're just getting used to it.

After my long side that resulted in an impact on my right ankle, I discovered I had broken both front body posts. Surprisingly, the body was still in great shape and didn't suffer any damage. After a quick rummage through my parts bin, I found a spare set of body posts and am back in "body on" action.

If you're a fan of rally cars or Audis in general, this is a beautiful machine to look at. When you couple its appearance with raw out-of-the-box power, you're in for something special.
