Build Your Own Monster with Axial's SMT10 Raw Builders Kit
The mad scientists at Axial have done it, they've resurrected the SMT10 monster truck platform, reintroducing it as both a ready-to-run (RTR) model and a kit platform. The SMT10 Raw Builders Kit offers the parts and pieces to build a durable monster truck model that can be customized to your liking.
Much like the original SMT10, this kit features a tube-frame chassis, AR60 OCP (off-center pumpkin) axles, an AX10 transmission with all-metal internal gearing, aluminum-bodied shocks, and 4-link suspension (among other things).
This kit offers a decent starting point for a custom monster truck build, however, a few additional components are needed to complete construction:
- Motor
- Steering Servo
- ESC
- Radio System
- Tires
- Monster Truck Body
- Paint
- Batteries (for the model and radio transmitter)
- Battery Charger
