Boom Racing BRX01 AWB 4WD Chassis Kit & ZIL Truck Body

Boom Racing has announced its newest 1/10-scale trail truck kit, the BRX01 AWB with ZIL Pickup Truck Body. Known for their Toyota pickup and Land Rover-bodied kits, this new crawler kit features an adjustable wheelbase, a realistic chassis design, and a pickup truck hardbody that's ready for customization.

Setting the BRX01 AWB apart from previous BRX models is its adjustable wheelbase that allows you to build a trail truck with a wheelbase between 267mm to 287mm (10.5" to 11.3"). This adjustability allows you to consider several body styles for your rig, provided you're not a fan of the included ZIL pickup body.

The BRX01 AWB Chassis Kit is equipped with several Boom Racing components, including their BCF2 two-speed transmission, BRX80 PHAT axles, BADASS axle shafts, and KUDU center CVD driveshafts.

Keeping this rig as realistic as it can be, it rides on a combo of leafspring suspension paired with KUDU Scale Shock Absorbers. While not ideal for intense course crawling, this suspension setup should be great for a trail cruiser.

While some kits might provide you with the chassis, transmission, and suspension, Boom Racing goes even further by providing 1.55" MAXGRAPPLER Gekko Tires and 1.55" classic "steelie" beadlock wheels.

Capping off the highlights of the BRX01 AWB kit is the ZIL pickup truck body. Made of injection-molded plastic, this 1950s-styled truck body sports a detailed interior with opening doors, hood, and tailgate and also includes several scale details to ensure you've got a realistic rig when your build is complete.

It's worth noting that this model is Recon G6 certified, so you know you're getting a solid-performer that you can log plenty of miles with.
