Axial SCX10 III Coyote RTR Brushed Rock Crawler
It's been a quiet year from Axial so far, but as we head into cooler months, they're heating things up with the release of the SCX10 III Coyote RTR. More than an SCX10 III with a new body, this R/C crawler is geared towards hobbyists who prefer crawling performance over true-scale appearance.
That said, the SCX10 III doesn't resemble a rolling robot. Outfitted with Pro-Line's 1/10-scale Coyote Body, this has just enough visual detail to make it a styling machine to take out on the rocks.
Featuring performance-focused aspects like portal axles, front axle overdrive, oil-filled shocks, dual-stage tire foams, and all-metal gears, this version of the SCX10 III looks like a great option to get your feet wet with performance-focused crawling.
Other highlights of the SCX10 III Coyote RTR include a clipless body mounting system, redesigned shock towers that offer several mounting options, and licensed KMC Grenade wheels wrapped in licensed Maxxis Trepador tires.
Axial offers two versions of the Coyote RTR: a base version with silver or blue painted bodies, and a "combo" package that includes a gold-bodied rig, battery, and charger.
