Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 1982 Chevy K10 RTR

By: Tim Gluth

Axial has expanded its 1/10-scale crawler lineup with the SCX10 III Base Camp 1982 Chevy K-10. If this new rig looks familiar, it uses the same square-body style as the Limited Edition SCX10 III Pro-Line 1982 RTR released last year.

With its wonderfully styled 1982 Chevrolet K10 body, this trail truck has plenty of visual appeal. A chrome-plated grille, front and rear bumpers, and side mirrors contrast beautifully against either the blue or black body. Clear windows add to the truck's realistic appearance, and licensed Falken Wildpeak M/T tires cap off this machine's realistic vibe.

Running on the SCX10 III Base Camp platform, this truck features portal axles, the LCXU transmission, metal chassis links, aluminum-bodied shocks, and a 35-turn brushed motor. Control for this truck comes from a 2.4GHz Spektrum SLT3 radio system.
