ARRMA Quake 223S 2WD RTR Brushless Monster Truck
This looks like fun! ARRMA has a new addition to its 223S lineup that should delight anyone who loves to kick up some dirt and get air with their R/C truck. The Quake 223S Brushless Ready-to-Run (RTR) Monster Truck is a 1/10-scale monster truck that's designed for action and appears to pack impressive performance right out of the box.
Similar in size to its brushed-powered, the Gorgon, the Quake 223S features slightly larger dimensions (width and length), and benefits from the smooth performance of a 4000kv brushless motor.
The Quake 223S may be a great option for hobbyists looking to take the step up, speed-wise, as it supports both 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. ARRMA states this truck can reach speeds over 35 mph on a 2S LiPo pack and speeds over 50 mph on a 3S LiPo.
Beyond unlocking speed by battery choice, the Quake features throttle limiting and DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), which allows for more control when things get crazy.
Known for their durability, the ARRMA Quake features a heavy-duty transmission, a composite chassis, and oil-filled shocks that can be adjusted to tune suspension performance.
This truck also features a traditional pickup truck body style with a clipless body mounting system that features three different appearance/graphics options (green, purple, and red). Each livery option includes color-matching deep-dish monster truck wheels, bumpers, and skid plates to tie the look together.
The Quake 223S RTR also includes a 2.4GHz radio system (transmitter and receiver) and only requires batteries and a charger to operate.
