An Outdoor Adventure with the Carisma Scale Adventure Lynx ORV [Video]

There's no better test for a scale R/C vehicle than 90+ degree weather, humidity, and a forest floor that's coated with pine needles. As I continue to review the Carisma Scale Adventure Lynx ORV, I recently took it on an outdoor adventure which combined pavement, pathways and plenty of pine needles.

In stock form, the light weight of the Lynx can cause it to lose traction on slippery surfaces, however, a few running starts allowed this rig to get up and over most of the obstacles it was put up against. After I had a turn behind the wheel, I gave the controller to my oldest son, who wasted no time in launching the Lynx over tree roots, rocks, and embankments.

After a handful of indoor and outdoor excursions, I'm beginning to get a solid feel for the Carisma SCA-1E platform, and it's proving itself to be a solid contender among 1/10-scale R/C trail rigs.
