An Elemental Overhaul: My "Pro-Lineified" Element RC Enduro Sendero RTR [Video]
When you start upgrading an R/C machine, whether it's a go-fast speedster or a trail-loving crawler, it's easy to run a bit wild. Start with a set of tires, and before you know it, you've got new wheels, shocks, and a hot new body on your rig.
In fact, that's exactly how I went about overhauling my Element RC Enduro Sendero RTR, transforming it from a box stock trail truck into an old-school weekend warrior (thanks to a bevy of parts from Pro-Line). I recently took this rig for a run through some front yard obstacles and captured some of the action.
The upgrades and part-swaps that I've performed on this rig include Pro-Line's 1977 Dodge Ramcharger Body, Pro-Line Big Bore Scaler Shocks, Pro-Line 1.9" Rock Shooter Aluminum Composite Bead-Loc Wheels, and a rotation of Pro-Line crawler tires. Most-recently, I've been running Pro-Line's 1.9" Class 1 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, which offer a rugged, scale appearance.
With each upgrade and adjustment, the Element Enduro continues to become a better all-around rig and I'm looking forward to seeing what other customizations can be made to it.
