Adam and Ronda Drake Join Team Futaba
If you follow R/C racing, chances are that you've heard of Adam Drake and Ronda Drake. This husband and wife duo have been a major force in the world of radio-controlled racing for years, and their names go hand-in-hand with on-track success.
Futaba has announced that this R/C power-couple has joined their surface team, and will represent the brand in upcoming competitions. Their "weapon of choice" will be the Futaba 7PX, a fully-loaded, 7-channel transmitter.
From Futaba:
Adam started out backyard bashing when he was eight. Six years later, he scored his first major sponsorship with Team Losi. Before long, Adam had five 1/8 ROAR Nitro Buggy Nationals titles under his belt.
Ronda’s racing career started in 1990—and she’s been leaving the competition in the dust ever since. Her extensive record includes a Top Three finish in the Nitro Challenge 1/10 Gas Truck class and a Number One placement at an Airtronics race.
