A Fresh Look and Lower Price for the ECX Torment 4x4 Short Course Truck
Radio-controlled short course trucks (SCTs) have been a popular vehicle type for many years. I got my start in the hobby with an SCT and look forward to the day when I can get back behind the wheel of one. Since there are so many models on the market, ECX is appealing to those with an appetite for fun (and a budget).
Their Torment 4x4 Short Course Truck (brushed) has received a new look, some new features, as well as a lower price. The price cut is due to the fact that this is an almost ready-to-run (ARTR) package, as it doesn't include a battery or charger.
While you have to provide your own juice, the Torment 4x4 brushed SCT still brings quite a bit of fun to the party. With a 13-turn motor, full-time 4-wheel drive, and waterproof/water resistant electronics, the Torment is set up to handle just about any type of condition, from the track to the backyard.
Two new color schemes have been added as well, giving you the choice of a blue, orange, and white design, or white, green and black.
