A Custom Axial SCX10 Nukizer Takes on the "Military Zone" [Video]

By: Tim Gluth

There's no denying that a fresh, out-of-the-box R/C vehicle is as good as it gets. Taking that car, truck, or buggy and making into something unique, however, is one of the most exciting aspects of the hobby. The folks at Axial recently shared a video of a very tricked-out truck, built on their SCX10 platform.

Starting with their Jeep Nukizer body, this rig has been weathered and accessorized to give it an ultra-rugged, "military machine" feel. Accents such as a side-port exhaust tip, jerry cans, replicated canvas roof, and makeshift snorkel provide the icing on top of this well-crafted rig.

The customizations don't stop at the body, with a rough-looking front bumper, tow winch, upgraded wheels and tires all making this vehicle a one-of-a-kind creation.

If you're looking to shake up your radio-controlled trail truck and give it new life, or are simply looking to start a new build project, perhaps this military machine can give you some inspiration.
