If you’re looking for an R/C event to cool off at during the hot summer months, the Futaba O.S. Speed Tuned Nitro Challenge is one to put on your list. Hosted by the St. Louis Dirt Burners in St. Louis, MO, this nitro-focused event is entering its 11th year of competition.

Over the span of four days, the Nitro Challenge will showcase some of the best nitro and electric racers as well as provide answers for aspiring competitors.

Well-known drivers Ryan Lutz (Futaba) and Adam Drake (O.S. Engine) will be holding separate clinics on July 27 with each taking questions about their gear and sharing insight into the equipment that they run.

The on-track activity kicks off on Thursday, July 27 and wraps up on Sunday, July 30. Two days of open practice will precede the main races, and a 7-lap Pro Class “Dash for Cash” will be held on Sunday, July 30 to determine the “A” Main starting positions.
