Where do you fit in the world of R/C?
As the one-year anniversary of my foray into the r/c car hobby approaches, I'm amazed at how many subsets and off-shoots exist for this pastime. At first, you may want to get into radio-controlled cars for fun, an easy way to blow off steam and tinker with some scale machines. That's where the hobby gets a hold of you and pulls you in deeper. You quickly discover the performance side of r/c and want to go racing, or if you prefer the controlled chaos that is drifting, there's a place for you there. The list goes on, rock crawlers, scale realism mods (adding plows, lights, and other real-world accessories to your vehicle to make them achieve actual tasks), on-road, off-road, bashing...you name it. It's a great hobby and an even greater community!
