I ordered a set of piggy back shocks from Asiatees last week they arrived a couple of days ago so got them built up last night.

When they arrived I have got to say I really am pleased with the overall finish of these shocks.  They look amazing and are full aluminum-bodied alloy caps, adjusters, spring retainers, and alloy eyes as well.

When I unpackaged them they didn't have any oil in so I have filled them with 40wt and they are really smooth with no binding on any of the parts of the shock and upon further inspection the piggy backs are fully operational

Upon fitting them as you have seen they are a little longer than the previous ones I had on the SCX10 well 15mm longer these are 105mm so naturally its sitting a little higher but the springs are quite soft so it sits about the same height as it was originally but it has a lot more articulation.

From initial test they seem to handle quite well and they aren't leaking so the seals seem to be quite good.  I will get out on the weekend and give them a good thrashing and get back to you guys to let you all know.
