Custom Craftsmanship - Headquake's International Scout Build

By: Tim Gluth

I've long been a fan of the International (IH) Scout. Long story short, my grandfather owned one, which my father bought and I was able to drive it on a few occasions when I was 16-17 years-old.  That vehicle has long-held a special place in my car-addict heart. That said, my love for the Scout was brought back to life after watching this amazing build video from Headquake.

Using a combination of materials, some amazing artistry, and an unbelievable level of craftsmanship, he created a stunning IH Scout build out of an Axial SCX10.  No detail was spared as he crafts levers, knobs, and other accents from wood and styrene.  He caps off the entire project by giving his rig a dirty, well-worn look.  Do yourself a favor and watch this video in its entirety.  You may walk away from it with a greater appreciation for the RC hobby and a few ideas that you can try out yourself.
