Blade's Torrent 110 FPV Quadcopter

By: Tim Gluth

The landscape (or is it airspace) of micro, multi-rotor aircraft and quadcopters has rapidly been gaining new options for indoor pilots. The customization and transformation of the Blade Inductrix into the “Tiny Whoop” Has shown there is a demand for small, indoor-focused FPV aircraft. A new, larger (yet portable) model from Blade builds upon that desire for indoor first person view flight with the Torrent 110 FPV.

This bind and fly (BNF) model is powered by four 1104 brushless motors and runs on a 3S LiPo battery (not included). The small, 100mm frame makes it perfect for indoor/in-house flight and included propeller guards help ensure you won’t damage your walls and furniture (not to mention the props themselves) if things get out of hand.

Blade Torrent 110 FPV Angle

Blade has given the Torrent 110 FPV a carbon fiber airframe and durable body shell to help protect it in the event of a crash. This high-durability allows for outdoor flight, should you feel the call of the wild.

The FPV functionality of the Torrent 110 uses a 600TVL wide angle camera that provides a 120-degree field of view. To Fully complete the FPV functionality of this model, you will need to supply a monitor/headset.
